Subtle Volume. Expert Shaping.

At Freyea, lip augmentation is about more than just adding volume. It is about balancing the upper and lower lip proportions, enhancing the Cupid's bow, and defining the vermilion border. Our goal is to create lips that look naturally plush and fit perfectly in harmony with the rest of your facial features.

What Lip Augmentation Can Address

Thin or lacking lip volume

Asymmetrical lip shape

Undefined Cupid's bow or vermilion border

Perioral lines ('smoker's lines') around the mouth

Loss of natural hydration and plumpness

Disproportion between the upper and lower lip

Avoiding the "Overdone" Appearance

We prioritise a sophisticated look over exaggerated volume. By using premium hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers formulated specifically for the lips, we ensure that your lips move naturally when you talk and smile, avoiding stiffness or the unnatural 'duck lip' appearance.

Is Lip Augmentation Right for You?

Lip enhancement is highly customizable and is ideal for adults who wish to address structural imbalances or aging in the lip area.

  • You wish to enhance the volume or shape of your lips
  • You want to correct asymmetry in your upper or lower lip
  • You have noticed a thinning of the lips due to aging
  • You want to smooth vertical lip lines and enhance lip hydration
  • You seek natural-looking, reversible results
The Freyea Signature
Custom Tailored Enhancement.

The Freyea Signature

There is no formulaic approach to perfect lips. We carefully select the filler viscosity based on your tissue type and structure. Our injection techniques are designed to respect the unique anatomy of your lips, providing hydration, structure, and subtle volume tailored exclusively to compliment your facial harmony.

The Treatment Experience

The procedure begins with a detailed aesthetic consultation to understand your exact desires and assess your lip anatomy.

01

Aesthetic Analysis

Assessing your natural lip shape, symmetry, and how your lips balance with your profile.

02

Comfort Management

A strong topical numbing cream is applied to ensure the treatment is as comfortable as possible.

03

Precise Injection

Using a combination of fine needles or micro-cannulas, the filler is meticulously placed.

04

Immediate Evaluation

We review the results together immediately, making any subtle final adjustments.

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers

We use HA fillers because hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the skin that attracts and holds water. This makes it perfect for providing soft, hydrated, and natural-feeling lip volume.

The Golden Ratio

We often reference aesthetic principles like the 'golden ratio' (where the lower lip is slightly fuller than the upper lip), but we adapt these guidelines to suit your unique ethnic and personal features.

Treatment Details

Lip tissue is delicate and vascular, making mild swelling an expected part of the process.

Anaesthesia

Topical Numbing Cream (filler also contains Lidocaine)

Duration

30 to 45 Minutes

Recovery

Mild swelling and possible bruising for 2 to 5 days

Results

Immediate, settling fully in about 2 weeks, and lasting 6 to 12 months

What to Expect

Immediate

Your lips will look fuller immediately, though they may also appear slightly swollen or uneven due to fluid.

Days 1 to 3

Swelling usually peaks on the morning after the procedure. Using ice packs can help manage this. Bruising may also become visible.

1 Week

Most of the swelling and bruising will have subsided. The lips will feel softer and look more natural.

2 Weeks

The filler will have integrated seamlessly into your tissue, revealing your final, beautiful result.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is lip filler painful?
The lips are sensitive, but we use high-grade topical numbing cream and fillers mixed with lidocaine to make the procedure very tolerable.
How long does lip filler last?
Due to the constant movement of the mouth, lip fillers typically last between 6 to 12 months, which is slightly less time than filler in other areas of the face.
Will it look obvious that I've had my lips done?
Not if performed correctly. Our priority is a natural enhancement that compliments your face, avoiding the over-filled or 'duck lip' appearance.
Can I have lip filler if I have thin lips?
Yes, but building volume in very thin lips may require a staged approach over a few sessions to gently expand the tissue without it looking unnatural.
What if I don't like the results?
Because we use Hyaluronic Acid fillers, the treatment is fully reversible. The filler can be dissolved safely using an enzyme.
